Vivienne Reiss devises arts and cultural programmes and works with artists on site-responsive commissions and creative engagement projects. She has recently worked with the arts team at Cambridge University Hospitals developing an arts strategy for Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital. Prior to that she was joint Head of Art at Great Ormond Street Hospital where she led the award-winning art commissioning programme including the arts strategy for the new cancer centre. At Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity she led the visual arts programme, including overseeing the arts strategy for Guy’s Cancer Centre. She was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to explore art and the healing environment which she completed in 2023. She is passionate about the role of art in enhancing environments and engaging people in the process.
