By SALUS User Experience Team | 06 Jul 2021 | 0
Health creation is about providing the conditions for people to be healthy and helping them to be so. In this first series, Lord Crisp explores with leading figures from different sectors ideas and practical examples of health creation ‘in action,’ looking in turn at ‘communities and health; housing and planning; food and the environment; a case study of how one English county is taking the initiative; and personal health and wellbeing.
Abstract
In this first programme, Nigel Crisp explores with architect Amir Hussain how the creation of a new digital platform that uses community activities and assets as the basis for stimulating greater social interaction is playing a role in building a health-creating society. Nigel Crisp will then be joined by James Sanderson to discuss how social prescribing designed to help individuals can also help create health and wellbeing in the wider community. Throughout the programme, health creators, Dame Donna Hall, Pam Warhurst and Heather Henry will discuss these and other examples of how digital tech, social prescribing and the NHS can help to build a healthy and health-creating society.
